3000K vs 4000K in a Kitchen
3000K preserves residential warmth and often coordinates with living and dining spaces. 4000K looks crisper and can suit white, gray or contemporary kitchens; 3500K is a useful bridge.
Task Lighting
For counters and food preparation, sufficient lumens, coverage, glare control and high CRI may matter more than a small Kelvin change. Under-cabinet lighting can add task support without forcing the entire room cooler.
